Physiotherapy in Mount Maunganui
Let's get you back to
pain-free movement
If pain or injury is stopping you doing what you love, physiotherapy can help you get moving again.
Our registered physiotherapists use proven, drug-free techniques to restore your movement, ease your pain and keep you well for the long run. We treat people of all ages and all stages, from weekend athletes to people recovering from surgery.

How we work
We combine hands-on clinical skill with the latest evidence. That means we look closely at what is causing your joint, muscle or nerve problem, explain it in plain language, and give you the tools to manage it. Most plans include a personalised exercise programme so you can take control of your recovery between sessions.

Your first appointment
We start by taking a full history and carrying out an assessment, usually asking you to move through a series of simple tests. It helps to bring a pair of shorts so we can assess you in comfort. From there we agree practical goals together and, where needed, arrange further investigations such as an x-ray or ultrasound scan, or work alongside your GP to get you the best result.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatment is built around you. We will give you a clear idea of your plan after the first visit. Acute problems can settle in one or two sessions, while longer-standing conditions often need a little more support to begin with.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. Many people are referred by their doctor, but just as many simply book in themselves.
Can I claim with my private health insurance?
You may be able to claim some of your fees back. We recommend checking your policy and confirming with your insurer before your appointment.
